Big or Small : Day 14 March Meet The Maker

Big or Small?

Interesting prompt. The suggestions are "what’s the biggest thing you sell? The smallest thing you sell? The biggest order you’ve ever had? A really bit component of a product? A tiny detail? Perhaps it’s not so much a physical thing but is instead a big achievement or milestone. Or perhaps a small win for the day. This one can be interpreted in so many different ways!"

Big or Small?  I work with books from 100 pages to 3000+ pages.  From around 3" tall, to over a foot tall.

My prices range from about £15 to over £150, and my orders range from single books, to 50-60 books and more.

Tiny details are everything.  I fold to an accuracy of half a millimetre, and if I'm so much as half a millimetre off, you'll see it. And the difference between creating a single letter with, say, 60 pages, compared to 65 pages, can be huge!

Big or small? Tiny business, big impact.  I usually have around 4500+ reclaimed hardbacks in stock, most (all) of which would have ended up in landfill, if I hadn't rescued them, ready to rehabilitate them for their next life, as a book sculpture. Although, did you know that there are SO many unwanted books in the world, that part of the M6 Motorway contains 2.5 million copies of Mills & Boon? Yeah, really more here

My biggest win will always be the fact that NoBooksWereHarmed.co.uk finally gave me the means to live my dream - all I ever wanted to do, was work from home.  It was a simple dream, but not one I ever believed would be in my future...and here it is, in my present ♥

I'm taking part in this year's March Meet The Maker. It's primarily an Instagram thing, with the focus being on telling your story via photos.  You might have noticed, I take shite photos, but I can ramble on in type for ages haha So I'm going to mostly take part, right here, on NoBooksBlog.co.uk
