"Inshallah"
Loosely translated as "If Allah wills it"
Used similarly, but more frequently, than "God Willing".
My favourite analogy, from a Muslim customer was, Christians tend to say "God willing" in connection to big events - "she'll pull through the big operation, God willing" whereas "inshallah" is used in connection with every day things. I quote "I'm off to get a Dunkin' Donut, Inshallah". This really made me smile, I love that faith!
Photos shown are of past pieces, most of which have gone to their new forever homes. I create this art within the pages of pre-owned & vintage books, therefore each item is unique and exact colours and final appearances naturally vary from book to book.
