Time to play!

Wednesday is generally my only day off each week.  I try to stay away from my desk, although it's often spent collecting and delivering books heehee

But after a very busy couple of weeks, working on VERY large commission pieces, today, I really felt the need to just 'play', and when I get the chance to play, I usually experiment with quite abstract designs, and most never see the light of day, they're just for me to experiment with different page textures and grain, and explore slightly different angles and folding styles.

I learn a lot from these designs, and don't manage to fit this kind of freestyle, just for the helluvit, design and fold time in, all that often. 

But I did today, and I like the result a lot, so I thought I'd chuck it on here for you to see what I get up to on my "days off"!
