eeeeek! Challenge time!

A couple of days ago, I received not one, but three, separate orders, for my everlasting posy. 

I'd noticed one of the orders when it came in, fairly late at night.  When I actually went to my desk, lunchtime the next day, and printed off orders from the last 24 hours, I thought it was a printer glitch, when I saw 3 everlasting posies.  But it wasn't! 

As I was finishing up the previous order, I started thinking about my posy.  I was thinking it had been AGES since I'd folded one.  At one point they were SUPER popular as little hospital / get well gifts, now that hospitals and homes don't really like fresh flowers in wards and rooms.  But I couldn't remember the last time I'd folded one.  

I went and selected some suitable books from my 4500+ strong 'library', and went to pull out my posy design notes.  Except they weren't there.  Oh, they must be saved on my laptop, rather than in my handwritten notes.  Uhm.  Nope.  

I went and made a cup of tea.  It has been a VERY busy couple of weeks, and this weekend should see me break the back of deadlines, and regain some breathing space.  My head is a little fried.  And I know I'm tired.  Hence allowing myself the morning 'off' yesterday.  ("Off" included picking up a batch of books and doing a couple of local deliveries haha But 'off' from my desk!). 

I went back to my desk, fully expecting to be like "oh THERE it is, duh!", but no.  A long search then commenced.  I figured out that I think it's been 8 years since I last folded a posy.  So I studied all my notes and scribbles from 2018, in to mid 2019.  Nothing.  I was at a loss.  At this point, I'd spent over an hour hunting down my design notes, and got nowhere - except I came across some old scribbles, which I've still never brought to booky life, and really must get round to haha

There was nothing else for it.  I had to reverse design the whole thing, from the very old, kinda grainy pic that you see above!  

I ended up burning a lot of midnight oil, but I'm quite happy with the end result.  At least I've got updated photos now hahahaha 

And YES.  I have filed my notes away correctly this time.  And still not come across the original ones!
