    The Bibliophile Collection
    Super Sized Superior Stag

I create this stunning piece by making over a thousand individual folds, by hand, into the wafer thin pages of a huge Encyclopedia Britannica.

With its classic, black, padded cover, complete with thistle emblem on the front,  these, almost obsolete books, are true works of art in their own right.   As with all of my work, I create this striking stag's head by handfolding each page, to an accuracy of around half a millimetre.  I don't cut, laser or other wise damage the book; it is completely un-harmed.

Superior Stag is based on his wee brother, Steve The Stag
A real conversation piece of art ♥

Created by carefully hand folding the pages of a preowned or vintage book.
Photos shown are of past pieces, most of which have gone to their new forever homes. I create this art within the pages of pre-owned & vintage books, therefore each item is unique and exact colours and final appearances naturally vary from book to book.
